QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Gemini Freight Management are recruiting;

 

‘Logistics Operation Specialist’ team members to be based at our Istanbul office in Atasehir.

 

We are an industry leading, global organisation with the head office based in United Kingdom

 

We are looking forward to having experienced candidates who are oriented in sea export and import operations as well as able to take initiative in required air and road activities within our dynamic team towards our global growth strategies.

 

We are in search of individuals who aim at advancing in our international organisation, are able to take initiative and possess the potential of steering the dynamism of the globe rather than keeping pace with. Notwithstanding it is indicated below, we believe in emphasising it here one more time.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent command of English.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics Operations

· Having career goals in Logistics sector

· Decent elocution, communication and representative skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in related fields

· No military obligation for male candidates

· Able to undertake responsibility and open to innovation

· Available for flexible and busy working hours

· Honest, hardworking, perfect team member

· Have a problem solving mentality

· Good command of MS Office programs

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate will be responsible for:

· Organising all transportation activities, managing and following up shipment process

· Providing vehicle and container supply, handling files, carrying out shipments by organising suitable supplier and vehicles

· Transferring information to customers, effective information management in operation process

· Preparing documents related to exportation operations, regularly follow-up, making bill of ladings, arranging drafts and delivery orders, e-mailing with foreign agencies

· Arranging operational reports, sending out documents abroad

· Establishing coordination with customs consultants and shippers

· Establishing coordination between related departments (Purchase-Finance-Customs-Transport)

· Assisting to archieve closed files, preparing cost reports and passing them up to senior management.
