Computational Fluid Dynamics Team Manager

We are seeking a team manager with the following qualifications for our leading company in the industry.

Qualifications: 

• Graduated from departments of Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering, 

• Experienced in using simulation software such as Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX, OpenFoam, Barracuda virtual reactor, or similar, with expertise in conducting CFD analysis using these programs, 

• Knowledgeable in combustion, chemical reactions, swirl, and solid-gas multiphase flows, • Proficient in at least one of the following software: Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, NX, SpaceClaim, and Design Modeler, 

• Experienced in at least one of the following meshing software: Ansys Meshing, ICEM CFD, Pointwise, and Hypermesh, 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D and CFD, preferably involved in TÜBİTAK projects, • Possess analytical thinking skills with a focus on results, 

• Capable of project management, with strong planning and organizational abilities, 

• Residing in or willing to relocate to Istanbul or Ankara, 

• Proficient in advanced English, certified through exams such as YÖKDİL, IELTS, TOEFL, etc., • Holding a B class driver's license, able to actively drive vehicles, 

• Experienced in teamwork and team management, 

• No travel restrictions

Job Description: 

• Determine the work schedule of the CFD team, 

• Plan the training sessions for the CFD team, 

• Conduct checks on simulations performed by the CFD team, 

• Report the results of CFD simulations and the models resulting from these results to relevant unit managers for mechanical design inputs, 

• Plan field measurements for the data to be used as initial conditions in CFD simulations.
