QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, one of world' s leading oil and petrochemicals groups, having operations is over 70 countries with key strengths in oil and gas exploration, production; refining, marketing and supply of petroleum products, and supporting all its business with high quality research and technology; is looking for CONSTRUCTION FIELD ENGINEERS.
*University degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering,
*Expertise in land slides and river crossing is plus,
*Minimum 5 years experience in construction management preferably in oil & gas industry, pipeline experience is a plus,
*Advanced communication skills in English,
*Self motivated,
*Able to manage to work under stress and pressure,
*Capable to manage multi-cultural work force,
*Flexible about travelling,
*For male candidates, military service should be completed.
*Act as company representative at worksite and supervise contractor (and their sub-contractors) works,
*Ensure company procedure, standards and policies are followed-up in terms of health & safety, environment, engineering, construction and commissioning,
*Ensure that contractors (and their sub-contractors) comply with contract terms & conditions,
*Report progress to head office on daily basis, attend teleconference meetings as required,
*Coach and influence company’s contractors (and their sub-contractors) to ensure that company’s safety requirements are achieved,
*Maintain a high profile presence on all company facilities to promote the concept of ‘getting health and safety right',
*Ensure lessons learned and best practices are distributed and formal feedback (as to action taken) is provided on request.
