REQUIREMENTS

·     Minimum university diploma.

·     Minimum 3 years of 5-star luxury hotel or a high-end restaurant experience in a similar position,

·         Having an extensive and strong knowledge of wine,

·         Knowledge of local vineyards and wineries,

·         Ability to create tasteful food and wine pairings,

·         Expected to having WSET certificates.

·         Excellent command of both written and spoken English,

·         Ability to use Micros POS,

·         Having advanced communication skills,

·         Successful, dynamic and proactive in human relations

·         Presentable, giving importance to its appearance and personal hygiene / care

·         Having a guest-oriented service approach,

·         Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment,

·         High sense of responsibility, adaptability to strict deadlines,

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Create and update the wine list in coordination with Head Sommelier.

·         Recommend food and wine pairings.

·         Advise guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices.

·         Inform guests about different varieties of wines.

·         Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and within the proper glassware.

·         Manage wine cellar and ensure its fully-stocked.

·         Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment on a daily basis in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.

·         Train wait & bar staff on available wines with scheduled wine program.
