We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate, and self-motivated“Occupational Health & Safety Manager” for our project in Develi / Kayseri.

About The Opportunity

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrating strong leadership and mentorship regarding occupational health and safety,
• Leading the development of occupational health and safety culture, and promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability through effective communication,
• Providing in the implementation of HSE management systems, programs, and procedures to achieve the OH&S policy deployments,
• Playing a critical role in implementation of OH&S Site Strategic Plan in alignment with Corporate OH&S long-term strategic plans,
• Developing and implementing the Occupational H&S risk assessments and emergency response plans,
• Collaborating with operational teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies,
• Ensuring that all OH&S event are reported and investigated through detailed root cause analysis and that corrective actions are planned and implemented,
• Regularly reviewing safety metrics and performance indicators to measure progress and drive continuous improvement initiative, and tracking necessary reporting including periodical OH&S KPI’s,
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations including BEKRA, Integrated Management systems,
• Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends to proactively address compliance issues,
• Managing annual OH&S budget.

About You

To qualify, the following skills and experiences are required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering departments, mining engineering is preferred,
• Minimum 15 years of experience in OH&S in Mining industry,
• Has OH&S Expert Certification (A class),
• Has an internationally valid OHS certificate (Nebosh, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred,
• Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment is must,
• Fluency in English,
• Good command of MS Office applications,
• Solid experience in the integration management systems (ISO), ICMC and Seveso,
• Advanced level of English skills,
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate employees at all levels,
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful health and safety programs,
• Residing in Kayseri Develi district or willing to relocate.
