Piping Works Group Manager

We are looking “Piping Works Group Manager” for our heavy industry project taking place in Russia.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of Engineering,
• Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in managing piping design and installation in heavy industry projects,
• Experienced in project and site management in Power & Heat, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects,
• Advanced knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ASME, EN) related to piping systems; familiarity with Russian standards and regulations (GOST) is a big plus,
• Strong proficiency in MS Office programs, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Russian is preferred,
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams,
• Excellent report drafting skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coordinate, motivate and inspire a team,
• Ability to work and lead well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment,
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented character without neither losing focus of the project goals nor the sight of the big picture,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Implementing piping works in the field and ensuring the control of subcontractors,
• Being responsible for all works within the scope, anticipating risks and problems that may arise during manufacturing, reporting to higher authorities,
• Managing the relevant work schedule within the required quality and  occupational safety procedures
• Checking and approving completed works and reporting any discrepancies,
• Carrying out follow-ups assigned, in order to ensure compliance of the performed works with quality standards and regulations,
• Ensuring field control and coordination of materials,
• Managing subcontractors or teams,
• Checking and reporting subcontractor progress payments according to completed works,
• Controlling daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports from subcontractors, reporting discrepancies and intervening if necessary,
