SCAFFOLDING GROUP MANAGER

We are looking for a “Scaffolding Group Manager” for our heavy industry project taking place in Russia.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of Engineering,
• Minimum 10 - 15 years experience of scaffolding works in Power & Heat, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects,
• Experienced in field scaffolding teams and subcontractor management,
• Advanced knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ASME, EN) related toscaffolding works in industrial projects; familiarity with Russian standards and regulations (GOST) is a big plus,
• Strong proficiency in MS Office programs, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Russian is preferred,
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams,
• Excellent report drafting skills,
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coordinate, motivate and inspire a team,
• Ability to work and lead well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment,
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented character without neither losing focus of the project goals nor the sight of the big picture,

• Being responsible for all scaffolding works within the given scope,
• Being responsible for subcontractor selection, material order supply control, creating group architectureand participating in white collar personnel interviews,
• Creating and following the work program according to Level 3,
• Management and administration of the field teams and subcontractors under charge,
• Regular reporting of scaffolding works activities and work progress to the superiors and technical office,
• Daily tracking of labour-hour efficiency in scaffolding works activities and ensuring that said activities remain within the project budget, with weekly reporting to the superiors and technical office,
• Supervising, monitoring and ensuring the scaffolding works activities of subcontractors and field teams, are being done by the quality standards, regulations and production methods,
• Ensuring that subcontractors and field teams work by occupational safety rules during the installation/construction process,
• Approval of the installation/construction made and reporting of non-conforming productions,
• Checking subcontractors’ quantity survey and progress payments reports,
