Gearbox Development Engineer

You Will..

• Advanced technical knowledge on gear / gearbox or reducers.

• Support design and analysis activities.

• Support Design FMEA creation.

• Participate in R&D modification and new standard definition, process review and changes.

• Bearing and rotary sealing selection according to customer requirements.

• Support project team as a product owner for problem solving on warranty, line returns or cost reduction studies, etc.   

• Support project team as a product owner for customer and supplier design reviews    

You Are..

• University degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering,

• Very good command of  English,  

• +5 years of experience in automotive industry for Gear/Gearbox or reducer development, 

• Knowledge about gear manufacturing processes

• Fatigue knowledge,

• Lubrication analysis of gearbox 

• GD&T knowledge,

• Gearbox specific NVH knowledge,

• Proven decision making ability

• No military service obligation
