We are seeking a dynamic Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Developer to work in IT Department. The Dynamics AX Developer is responsible for effective design and implementation of Dynamics AX configurations and customizations. This individual uses .NET and AX native programming languages in developing solutions for the enterprise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing, configuring, monitor and maintain all aspects of MS Dynamics AX (Production, Staging, Test).
• Analyze, design, develop, test and document Dynamics AX using .NET, X++ and other technologies.
• Managing MS Dynamics AX System Resources.
• Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Develop and support interfaces/integrations between Dynamics AX and related systems.
• Create migration scripts for data import into Dynamics AX.
• Troubleshoot problems reported by Dynamics AX users and identify modification needed to meet changing user requirements.
• Working knowledge on configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting AX Workflows, Performance and Batch process issues.
• Configuring and Maintaining Dynamics AX administrative tasks such as User Management, Configuration and Deployment.
• Make recommendations for future upgrades.
• Management and Review of security logs and table permissions framework.
• Installing hot fixes and deploying modifications to AX environment including development of SSRS reports and EP pages.
• Adhere to and help enforce the software development life cycle.
• Develop, maintain and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with best practices for segregation of duties.
• Proficiency in using SQL queries in analyzing data issues.
• Performing internal training for other group members as needed.
• At least 2+ years of work experience in AX Development.
• Experience on Software Development Lifecycle practices (Analysis, Modelling, Development).
• Excellent use of development technologies such as Visual Studio 2010+
• Installing and configuring SharePoint, Enterprise Portal is necessary.
• Deploy and configure SSRS and SSAS.
• Manage Security in Application Integration Framework (AIF) is needed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Graduated from relevant disciplines (Programming, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering etc.)

 
KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
The ideal candidate must have good knowledge and solid experience on technologies like:

• Knowledge of X++
• Knowledge of C# - ASP.NET MVC 5 technologies.
• Knowledge of .Net stack as it relates to Dynamics AX, and IIS, WCF and Web Services.
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2012+, including SSIS, SSRS, SSA.
• Knowledge of leveraging Dynamics AX for business intelligence.
• Knowledge on JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, JSON, XML, HTML 5 and CSS3 web technologies.
• Knowledge on MS Windows Server and Active Directory.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Microsoft Dynamics AX Certification preferred.
