GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Vodafone, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, has mobile operations in 26 countries (partnering with mobile networks in 55 more) and fixed broadband operations in 17 markets, serving 446 million mobile customers and 12 million fixed broadband customers around the world. Vodafone is strongly committed to lead the digital transformation in the Turkish Market, where the company has been operating and investing heavily since 2006.
  • 5+  years’ experience  within the telecommunications industry
  • Preferably Masters in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Good understanding of end to end network topology and services.
  • Technical Knowledge LTE, UMTS, IETF and GSM standards (3GPP)
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and preferably have CCNA certification
  • Good knowledge of common internet protocols, TCP/IP, Video, Data Services, Voice Services
  • Working experience of vendor implementations such as Huawei, Ericsson and NSN.
  • Wise experience of reporting and troubleshooting tools such as  active/passive probe solutions, OSS statistics, drive test equipment; Database &  SQL query capability such as Oracle, SQL, BO
  • Good understanding of Big Data Analysis tools such as R, Jasper, SAS, Qlikview, Tableau.
  • Fluent in English


İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a  Central NW Quality Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Central.NW Quality &Terminal-SIM Techn.Manager  of  Vodafone Turkey.
  • Proactively carry out performance gap analysis of the services, and propose necessary changes to resolve any performance issues
  • Regularly flag trends and insights coming from different data points about Network Performance and KPI Dashboards (Including SIGOS, Probe, OSS).
  • KPI Quality tracking for network functions preferably Transport, CS Core, PS Core and Internet 
  • Perform high level troubleshooting, diagnostics for end to end networking problems
  • Develop and reconcile standard network/service quality KPI definitions
  • Drive agreement at technical level on thresholds / targets for tracked metrics
  • Keeping track of Industry & Group Best Practices and disseminating this information within Regional Quality, Planning and Regions.
  • Champion Quality Initiatives across RAN, CS, PS, CPN & Transmission Domains.
  • Recommend and guide optimization decisions based on Analysis from different sources
  • Recommend inputs to RAN/Core Initiatives/Feature Implementation or Major Changes
  • Administer all tools within scope of accountability.
  • Setting up, configuration and organization of end to end test and monitoring infrastructure including switches, routers, VOIP systems, QoS, security structures, firewalls and network protocols.
  • Work on new sources and actively incorporate big data techniques into analysis routines.
