Construction Mechanical Supervisor – Tanks

• Minimum 10 years' experience in the role
• Fluency in Turkish and English
• Must demonstrate good organizational/leadership and professional abilities and must be a team player
• Proficient with the standard computer software packages
• Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
• Possess good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills

İŞ TANIMI

• Maintain close liaison with other discipline supervisors working in the area in order to coordinate all work in the area.
• Ensure that materials used comply with project technical documents and applicable codes and specific
• Check the productivity of Company Contractors work with regards to the quality and quantity (jointly with project control).
• Monitor Company Contractor execution of the work in order to achieve project objective
• Ensure that all works are completed as per project schedule, otherwise check deficiency and refer to Construction Manager, in order to promptly define and implement corrective actions to comply with project schedule
• Verify and discuss with Construction Manager and Field Project Engineer modification or any difference raised on the activity relevant to previous and following points and cooperate with them to issue Sketches Layout (SKL) for the relevant modification, when works must be executed in a different way as indicated on drawings.(If cost or schedule impacts arise, it is mandatory to get prior approval from Construction Manager)
• Record any modification after approval and in cooperation with Construction Manager informs the Subcontract Administrator to manage contractual changes
• Prepare and fill the Request of Work Execution (R.W.E.) form for any extra work out of contract or for modification, before the execution of the work itself, as per project procedure issued by Subcontracting Department
• Ensure that "Work Permits" are validated before starting any work
• Ensure that Company Contractor is working on latest revision of all drawings and other technical documents (jointly with QC/TOS Coordinator)
• Check by the "Manpower presence report" the Company Contractor's manpower present in site (jointly with Subcontracting Administrator).
• Verify & sign and collect all Company Contractor Time Sheets when the work is reimbursed on hourly basis
• Prepare & check Company Contractor's monthly & weekly progress of work and transmit relevant data to Project Control Coordinator
• Verify that execution of works comply with technical documentation, CONTRACTOR & Company Contractor Quality Plan, work progress, applicable codes and rules, authorizing consequently the activity of accounting for the installed quantities. Take action to correct any deficiency
• Ensure in advance that no hold up of COMPANY CONTRACTOR work occurs due to missing required engineering documents and materials, or work area accessibility
• Provide & Check for accounting
• Prepare, issue to Company Contractor, and file Construction and Final Punch Lists, and follow up the completion of relevant outstanding works
• Keep a set of latest copies of all the drawings relevant to works supervised and maintain in separate file all superseded copies, clearly identified as “SUPERSEDED”.
• Verify the availability of the codes applicable to the project in the Company Contractor site office
• Ensure that all QC activities (type and extension) are executed in due time according to relevant Site Work Instruction and applicable codes and specifications
• Supervise the installation of all tank, carrying out all alignment and plumbing checks, installation and checking of all internals, and carrying out final closure of all tank
• Liaise with CONTRACTOR Mechanical Engineer on all tank drawings for shipping stops and supports; check on possible testing and timing of removal before or after test
• Liaise with the CONTRACTOR Mechanical Engineer on setting of tank if no installation manual setting plan is available he will advise on manuals delivery date or any special conditions which are shown on the drawing
• Ensure that the Mechanical Company Contractor has the latest delivery information so that all preparation work and checking can take place before delivery
