• At least 5+ years experience on system engineering
• Extensive UNIX,shell scripting,Python,PLSQL, and SQL skills
• ETL experience is plus
• Strong background in data warehouse concepts
• Knowledge of Hadoop
• Capacity monitoring and management capabilities
• Managing and monitoring of Oracle Exadata database machine
• Strong query and database tuning skills
• Based on the goals and plans, shape the next generation architecture of the domain product and/or related applications. Create publishable documentation. 
• Make the impact analysis of the new project designs on the existing architecture.
• Analysis, specification, and validation of requirements for the assigned projects.
• Strong understand the purpose and scope of the assigned projects.(Business requirement specification).
• Strong Vendor Management & negotiaition capabilities

İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a Enabling Platforms Senior Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting  Decision Support Systems Manager of  Vodafone Turkey.

• The accountabilities of this role are:
• Management of CEM, Analytics applications
• Management of Oracle Database in previous mentioned applications.
• Manage and monitor  ETL environments
• Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure.
• Maintaining and planning  related products
• Monitor and tune related enviroments performance, participate in capacity planning, including processing, storage, and back-up/recovery capacity
• Resolve problems in data warehouse bottleneck areas with approaches to wait event tuning
• Controlling access permissions and privileges
• Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
• Proactive monitoring of deployed systems and HW/SW components
• Provide immediate solutions to any problems himself/herself or suggesting interim solution if it requires detailed examination.
• Identify solutions for issues and prioritize efforts for solving them.
