·         Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent appropriate experience is required.
·         The person in this position has a wide area of technical expertise in Fluid Conveyance products and processes (braiding, extrusion, compounding) and will have previous experience 5 to 10 years in a similar manufacturing industry, managing individuals.
·         Strong project management skills (including software skills MS Project or similar).
·         Ability to initiate preventive, rather than corrective, Engineering action.
·         Effective communication and change management skills.
·         Demonstrated ability to collaborate with functions outside of Engineering.
·         Good knowledge of financial analysis and justification for capital equipment.
·         Good Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools sets and Philosophy.
The Manager will have the autonomy to make decisions, give approvals, and take actions which support plant goals.
·         Fluency in both English and Turkish is a must.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager 

Location: Çerkezköy/Tekirdağ, TURKEY

Primary Function:
·         Manage Projects (where necessary using PROLaunch) such as: Capital Improvement projects, “Cost Out” projects, Safety Improvement Projects, Lean Projects, Equipment move or refurbishment projects etc. - complete CAPEX responsibility
·         Utilize sound Engineering judgment to create, apply, document, approve and update Tooling drawings, Engineering standards, PFMEA’s, Work Instructions, Routings, Standard Work documents etc.
·         Provide Quantified direction to the business to improve Safety, Quality, OTD, Productivity and machine utilization
·         Develop a team specific strategy which provides direction to the immediate business and is linked to FC Strategy and plant goals.
·         Establish new processes to improve production and team efficiency.
·         Limit Eaton’s exposure to Product Liability by ensuring sound Engineering and Manufacturing practices to the necessary industry standards
·         Work within an Engineering organizational structure that supports the FC Division as well as the local plant needs.
·         Maintain close liaison with Global Operations during the development and maintenance of products to insure smooth introductions, conformance to product specifications, and year over year cost outs.
