What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Material, Industrial Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar function.
* Fluency in English, German is an asset.
* Metal part production knowledge and experience on metal processing, stamping, threading, coating, deburring, fasteners, springs, coils, welding/soldering and related testing activities.
* Practical knowledge in implementation of Lean production and SixSigma.
* Good team player, structural thinking and professional approach towards suppliers.
* Good command of MS Office applications.
* Basic Knowledge of SAP.
* Market awareness and understanding of multi cultural environments.

For our Energy Management Division in Gebze we are looking for a Component-Engineer for metal parts at the Supplier Quality Assurance group for the Low Voltage factory. This role will be responsible for the interface on operational level to our suppliers, to develop the suppliers in terms of Quality, costs and delivery performance.

What are my responsibilities?
* Member of Supplier Quality Management (SQM) team in the deployment of the SQM strategy and monitoring of supplier quality continuous improvement.
* Manage, develop, implement, and maintain quality improvement programs. Organize and Perform supplier qualification audits on current and potential vendors. (ISO9001, VDA6.3, EN ISO 16949) 
* Communicate with suppliers when there is deviation with 8D methodology, ask supplier to take corrective and preventive actions and monitor the implementation. Monitor the supplier related non conformance costs (ScNCC) and coordinate the relation between the concerned internal parties and vendors in terms of ScNCC.
* Provides project direction supporting the supplier quality assurance personnel. Regular trainings about technical issues to vendors/sub-contractors. 
* Support SQA laboratory functions for the facility including incoming inspection & initial samples (PPAP), issue containment and supplier corrective & preventive actions.
* Monitoring & qualify critical vendors & sub-contractors in terms of quality reliability.
* Create, evaluate, publish the required ISIR reports via SAP QM Module and coordination between the concerned parties (HQ, production planning, supplier, production quality..etc.).
* Report and validate all suppliers related quality metrics (cycle time by incoming inspection, quality scores of suppliers, response rate of SQA team etc.).
* Driving product reviews to keep the related information actual with the suppliers. 
* Taking part for all quality improvement activities within the plant. 
* Evaluating customer complaints, drives identification of the root cause of quality issues and execution of product quality improvements through preventive or corrective actions. 
* Ensure the work of laboratory personnel engaged in performing routine and specialized technical procedures, including planning laboratory work, evaluating work performed and handling procedural and technical laboratory problems.
* Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure reliability of testing procedures, proper function of laboratory equipment and prepare and maintain applicable records. Support and organize calibration process within the LP factory. Keeping laboratory capabilities at a high level by tracking the technological developments for internal and future needs.
* Actively developing step by step our suppliers and implement our vision of "quality at the source and not through testing"  .
* Help to improve processes at the supplier throuh implementation of Siemens Performance System in order to achieve a high level delivery performance.

* Factory location will be at Gebze.
* Male candidates should have completed the military service requirement.
