What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Minimum 5 years experience working in corporate security or a similar commercial environment, including practical experience of incident and crisis management, within an international company, a security company or similar experience.
* Proven ability to lead teams with at least 3 years experience
* Very good command of English (spoken and written). Arabic is a plus.
* In depth knowledge of the main security issues in the country.
* Networking skills (within the Lead Country, Regional Companies, authorities, institutions, other companies).
* Good negotiating and influencing skills.
* Effective presentation and report writing skills.
* Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks.
* Ability to analyze and assimilate information from diverse sources
* Effective problem solving skills and able to work under stress in time critical situations
* Sense of law and ethics.

What else do I need to know?
* Military service should be completed for male candidates.
* No restrictions for travelling.

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
For our Siemens Security Department (GM SEC) we are looking for a Turkey Security Coordinator who contributes as part of the Regional Security Office to the security of Siemens personnel, assets and operations. This role will be responsible for supporting implementation and compliance with the requirements set by GM SEC, as described in the Mandate, Circulars and Instructions. The holder of the position provides tactical guidance and operational support to Regional Company CEO, their management teams and other stakeholders in relation to GM SEC security matters, working in close cooperation with the other GM SEC departments and Division Security Officers.

What are my responsibilities?
* Identify and assess country specific security risks and related vulnerabilities of Siemens in cooperation with GM SEC specialist departments.
* Support / advise Lead Country (LC) and Regional Country (RC) management in implementing and complying with the requirements of the Regional Security Officer and Country Security Officer.
* In support of  Regional Company CEO/ Management to develop and  maintain effective security and crisis management structures through identifying key stakeholders and establishing effective working relationships with them in order to meet business security requirements.
* Act as contact for all security related issues within the LC and RCs. Ensure the implementation of GM SEC travel regulations and tool.
* Supports the development of local security procedures to mitigate security threats whilst proactively monitoring the security environment in order to prioritize activities to support business goals and achievements.
* Develops and supports local intiatives in response to business security requirements and to maintain security awareness within individual business units. Categorize sites into protection classes as per GM SEC policies in coordination with the Business Units.
* Identify and protect sensitive projects from a know-how perspective. Develop and implement security concepts and plans for projects.
* Security assistance and support for international delegates. Security assistance for VIP visits and implementation of the corresponding security concept in cooperation with Regional Security Officer and Country Security Officer and GM SEC.
* Management of crisis and incidents involving the LC and RCs. Implement and train a LC and RCs crisis team. Provides tactical advice and operational support to Regional Company CEO/ Management in responding to security related incidents, including incident and crisis management, incident reporting and investigation. Develop and implement crisis plans and procedures for LC and RCs.
* Support the Country Security Officer and Regional Security Officer in any other field of GM SEC, such as for example ACP and OPERA, Investigations, Situational Assessment and Analysis and as directed to by managers.
* Develop and maintain contact with local security and military authorities, local security providers/consultants, counterparts of other companies, embassies. Develops and maintains internal and external networks in order to stay current with industry best practice and developments in delivering cost effective security.
* Provides input and feedback to the GM SEC functional departments for the development of regulations, processes and services.
