• Minimum 7 years related work experience
• Bachelor's degree in any IT / Aviation related discipline
• MBA or post graduate education in any IT / Aviation or business related discipline will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated experience in software/product development projects and providing solution design services
• Consultant/Pre-sales Engineer/Product Manager/Solution Architect background or similar work experience working for an international vendor/integrator would be extremely beneficial
• Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning
• Proven ability to provide functional design document, and solution design of complex and large-scale software systems and product implementation projects.
• Experience and familiarity with a broad spectrum of aviation systems available in the market
• Experience and familiarity with ICT systems and technologies is a plus
• Ability and eagerness to learn and master new technologies
• Significant knowledge of civil aviation related legislation, policies, procedures and systems
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
• Strong interpersonal skills with superior written and verbal communication skills

İŞ TANIMI

Solution Architect’s key role is to provide the overall design of the application and to map the client business requirements to systems/technical requirements in domestic and international projects as well as pre-sales activities. This position reports directly to the Head of Product Development.
This is a partially customer-facing role responsible for requirements elicitation, designing the solution and providing implementation plan of airport systems for our internal as well as external clients in tenders and projects, and is the prime technical contact for the customer.
The ideal candidate will come from a mix of software development and aviation business background, have strong commercial exposure to medium to large enterprise environments and will have confident client-facing communications skills. Exposure to project management, software development and service management would be extremely beneficial.
The successful candidate likes to build strong stakeholder relationships, can both talk business and software solutions technology.
 
Responsibilities include:

• High-level as well as low-level solutions design during pre-sales and design phases of software development and deployment projects
• Producing and/or coordinating all related documentation including functional design, methodology, process, diagrams, templates, workshops
• Technical pre-sales activities including RFI/RFP analysis, RFQ responses, sales calls
• Collaborating with other internal stakeholders (such as Software Developers, ICT Department, Vendor Management, PMO, Product Development, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Contracts Management) in order to deliver the most optimal technical solution in a timely manner
• Review of technical designs and BoQs that are delivered by other teams and/or vendors
• Providing input in the development of product roadmap on how to improve the capabilities of the systems
• Providing feedback on potential design improvements
• Monitor technical solutions proposed through the sales process and manage/flag any potential risks of non-closure
• Proactive assessment of technical solutions as per customers’ requirement
• Developing and delivering product/solution presentations and demonstrations
• Keeping current on new technologies
