QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- University degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 5+ years’ experience as developer/technical lead
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach for task
- Analytic thinking
- Strong R&D focus
- Strong HTTP, XML, JSON, SOAP, XML-RPC, WS-Security, REST knowledge
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript and back-end programming(Java, PHP, .NET, etc.) knowledge
- Proficiency in an RDBMS(Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) with strong ANSI SQL knowledge
- Proficiency in an object oriented programming language (Java, C++, PHP, etc.) with strong OOP concepts knowledge
- Proficiency in a web application server (WAS, JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache, IIS, etc.).
- Deep knowledge in enterprise web application/service infrastructures and deployment (firewall, proxy server, application server, load balancer, router, dns server, etc.)
- Willing to write code with C-C++
- Performance focus in design
- Testable component design approach
- Strong unit test focus
- Reuse-oriented design practices
- Secure coding practices
- Formal SDLC exposure/experience
- Experience in technical documentation ( HLD, Detailed Design, Test Strategy Document )
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
- Web application security vulnerabilities knowledge (XSS, injection, etc.)
- Web related low level protocols knowledge (TCP, SSL/TLS, DNS, etc.)
- Proxy servers knowledge (mod_proxy, nginx, etc.)
- Web Application firewall experience (ModSecurity, f5, barracuda, etc.)
- Kernel programming experience
- System programming ( particularly in Linux/Unix domain )
- Shell scripting (/bash /python /perl/ )
- Linux/Unix Systems knowledge
