QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

University Degree with Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication or Mathematics Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in ICT sector. Preferably in system integrator or vendor.
Position requires broad and deep knowledge of hardware and software products within the following technology areas and manufacturers. Multi-vendor expertise and experience is highly desired listed within each of the following technical areas:

-Servers and Converged Infrastructure platforms (Cisco, Dell, HP, Oracle, IBM/Lenovo)

-Virtualization (Vmware, Microsoft, Citrix)

-Cloud Orchestration (Vmware, Microsoft, OpenStack)

-Data Protection & Disaster Recovery & Replication (Commvault, Dell, EMC, HP, Symantec, Veeam)

-Storage (Hitachi, EMC, HP 3PAR, NetApp)

-Security (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco)

Hands on expertise in Vmware Vcloud Director & NSX.
Hands on expertise in Veeam Backup& Replication, Veeam Cloud Connect.
Deep knowledge in Cloud service providers like(Azure, Amazon, etc.), hybrid cloud models and micro services offerings.
Good understanding of email security (antispam/antivirus) and messaging protocols like SMTP, POP3, MAPI, TLS, etc.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Server family like Active Directory, Exchange, Lync, SCOM, SCCM, SQL.
Related Cisco , Microsoft , HP , Dell , Vmware , EMC , NetAPP , IBM , Checkpoint , Fortinet, Juniper certifications are plus.
Military service completed (for male candidates)
Very good command of English
Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements

İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a VAS Services Cloud Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Technical Product&Solutions Manager of Vodafone Turkey.

Follow technology to design and develop new collaboration, cloud & hosting services for Vodafone’s enterprise customers, taking care of cost and performance criteria. Search for new platforms for better performance of cloud services with new features
Work with vendors to implement new service platforms; RFP and POC scenarios, planning and deployment
Technical project management and product design for the deployment of new service platforms

-Planning high availability and disaster recovery of systems

-Capacity and infrastructure planning

-Solve problems that might occur on these systems working in cooperation with vendors, outsourced companies and other teams in Vodafone.

-Plan and attend major operations on the systems for fixing issues and keeping updated with new features

Use management tools to

-follow and report problems/capacity on the infrastructure

-develop proactive and reactive problem solution methods

-analyse system logs and prepare capacity reports

Enable product requirements from sales and business teams
Developing and managing partner ecosystem to deliver datacenter/application migration or management process.
Making R&D activities and running PoCs to choose the best technologies that is cost-effective, accordance with the standards.
