English Teacher

Job Description
Cezeri Science and Technology Schools - We are looking for an experienced English teacher to work at our Küçükçekmece and Fatih campuses. The primary responsibility of the English teacher is to provide high quality education through the planning of engaging lessons that enable all students to make the best possible progress. The teacher is expected to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and communicate this in an enthusiastic and creative manner. In addition, the teacher is expected to contribute to the routine and extra-curricular life of the school and department.

Required Qualifications
* Graduated from relevant undergraduate programs of the Education Faculties of universities,
* Can be assigned according to MEB criteria,
* Advanced level of English and intermediate level of Turkish,
* Able to provide education at primary school, secondary school and high school levels,
* Able to see individual differences as richness and adapt,
* Having high communication skills and leadership qualities,
* Having knowledge about IB and PYP training programs,
* Having organizational and planning competence,
* Able to manage crises and use time effectively,
* Open to self-improvement and innovation,
* Able to adapt to a flexible working environment.

Task Description
* Ensure your students achieve above-average results in English language learning. Teach your students in a clear, concise and fun way,
* Incorporate the school's goals into your curriculum by staying abreast of its mission and initiatives,
* Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities,
* Enhance and implement teaching methodologies such as hands on learning activities, games, classroom discussions, documentaries, movies, and mind maps,
* Promote maximum student participation and assist students in analyzing and improving methods and habits of study,
* Monitor students’ progress constantly and adjust the pace of work accordingly,
* Assess and grade the students on a regularly,
* Ensure that all children pay attention to the lesson plan delivered,
* Ensure that the schools’ educational program, JLP (Aljazari Learning Program) is properly implemented,
* Enforce regulations concerning the students conduct and discipline and maintain appropriate standards for student behavior in the classroom and in the school premises,
* Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served,
* Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year,
* Regularly communicate with parents and legal guardians regarding child’s performance, track and record student progress and keep records up to date for progress reports and report card conferences,
* Have patience, self-sacrifice and professional ethics,
* To comply with the policies and procedures laid down by the administration.
