HSE Specialist

We seek for HSE Specialist who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB in Automation, Local Division Energy Industries in Istanbul location with below:

Job Description:

• Implement and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
• Prepare and submit HSE reports and documentation to management and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the energy or automation industry.
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
• Experience with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems.
• Fluency in English and Turkish.
