We are currently looking for a Production Assembly Chief for our global business partner.

Job Description

• Coordinate manufacturing activities in line with operational objectives and budgets, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.
• Monitor production areas, machinery, processes, and output, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead, motivate, and develop assembly technicians and operators; manage shift schedules, performance evaluations, and resource allocation.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies to eliminate waste, improve assembly cycle times and optimize workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, and other relevant departments to resolve technical bottlenecks and ensure smooth material flow on the shop floor.
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives and changes in manufacturing methods by evaluating technological developments and assessing the feasibility of new equipment and techniques.
• Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are understood and implemented by all production team members.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and contribute to the preparation and implementation of operational plans aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with management teams to maintain a positive and productive working environment.
• Monitor and regularly report production KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within assembly operations.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with international teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage conflicts, motivate technical teams, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and people-management skills, particularly in managing blue-collar technical teams.
• Military service should be completed for male candidates.
