Material Planning Engineer (1 Year Temporary)

We are looking for an “Material Planning Engineer” for our client operating in "Defense Industry" with the qualifications below;

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Materials Engineering
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a material planning environment
• Focus in Stock Planning and Configuration Management
• Ability to work independently in a start-up environment
• Self-motivated and organized around business priorities
• Ability to implement and improve corporate processes regarding material planning

JOB DESCRIPTION

• This position will be the liaison between Project Management Team, Purchasing Team, Purchasing Quality Team, Warehouse Management Team and Design Teams for purchased components
• Prototype materials planning, placing order requests and follow-up of purchasing and deliveries
•  Preparation of an overall view of all prototype parts in the whole cycle
• Compliance with timelines, the delivery dates and production requirements in terms of order and release process
• Monitoring of procurement and escalation when scheduling delay occurred according to escalation rules
• Assessment of threats and risks for prototyping and materials supply process
•  Information exchange in between different departments
•  Reporting of part schedules and possible delays with related consequences
• Recognition of deviations for released parts
• Material availability of un/-released new parts
