 We are looking for a Retail Planning Assistant to serve our leading customer in the field of Textile, for which we provide consultancy.

Retail Planning Asisstant

Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to assist Retail Planning team Turkiye and provide strong analytical skills to inform buys for each planning groups.

Key Results:

·            Define units to support sales plan including return rates.

·            Item plan accuracy (esp core PC9’s)

·            Fill rate of core PC9’s

·            Business performance reviews and action.

·            Aging profile of inventory at customer (Inventory health)

Key Responsibilities

·            Collaborate with Merch to define the optimum assortment to achieve sales plans.

·            Consolidate orders from customers and attend Sell in sessions working with customers where appropriate.

·            Working with Finance and Commercial, validate category mix, AUR, merchandise flow and revenue targets for each planning group.

·            Support of returns to optimize profitability of aged inventory.

·            Conduct quantitative analysis and insights to optimize line profitability.

·            Providing input to the development of reporting and analytics activities to ensure account productivity and inventory investment.

·            Promote standardization across SA-MEA of processes and tools wherever possible.

·            Review business performance weekly to identify opportunity and risk, escalating issues for resolution.

·            Sizing accuracy in Override Profiles

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

·           Ideally a bachelor's degree (8+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree). 

Experience:

·           Ideally a minimum 2-3 years of experience in a planning function, preferably in apparel

Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:

·            Advanced Excel (VB a plus), Power Point, Tableaux (Power BI a plus)

·            Demonstrated forecasting/planning expertise and experience in the wholesale apparel industry preferred

·            Proven experience understanding retail planning and executing exceptional quantitative skills

·            Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and focused on meeting deadlines

·            Effective multi-tasker, with strong ability to interact with multi-functional stakeholders

·            Demonstrated innovative problem solving and partnering skills.
