Accounting Specialist - Sales

Akçansa, a jointventure of Sabancı Holding and HeidelbergCement, is the biggest cement producer of Turkey and the leader company of its industry. For our Accounts Receivable department in Büyükçekmece we are looking for a Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role will be responsible for supporting and providing assistance to receivable accounting and reporting tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Bachelor's degree in related fields (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting etc.)
• Advanced level of knowledge on MS office programs
• Good command of English
• Knowledge of SAP FI-SD preferred
• Knowledge of Tax and Commercial Codes and Customs Legislation
• Preferably experienced in managing the accounting processes of a large dealer network and leading accounting projects
• Deadline conscious and quality-oriented approach, analytical thinking and good communication skills are required competencies

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysing and controlling premium system to be applied for dealers; controlling accrued amounts and records entered into the accounting system.
• Following up sales invoice, controlling according to Turkish GAAP and transferring to SAP system.
• Following up and executing whole export transactions including sales invoice, reconciliation, custom documentation.
• Preparing all report which is directly related with sales, pricing, maturity, term difference etc.
• Preparing Monthly BS Reconciliation Report
• Controlling invoices coming from dealers, keeping track of current account balances and end-of-period reconciliations
• Controlling dealer risk measurement system,
• Following up on Letter of Guarantees, Mortgages to keeping them up to date
• Providing required document and information for internal and external audit teams.
