We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled PIE Activities Specialist to join our engineering team. In this role, you will take part in the end-to-end planning, preparation, and validation processes of Product Integration Environment (PIE) activities for automotive projects. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring efficient integration, traceability, and system validation for innovative vehicle development.

Qualifications for Success

·       Engineering degree (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar)

·       Solid knowledge of vehicle systems and integration processes

·       Experience (min. 3 year) with automotive tools such as CANOE, JIRA, and DSF

·       Ability to manage parts reception, traceability documentation, and calibration needs

·       Familiarity with instrumentation, simulation tools (SIMBAT), and GMP/Battery kits

·       Proficiency in planning and managing system validation phases

·       Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills

·       Fluent in English; French is a plus

·       Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

·       Identify innovations and assess simulation and instrumentation needs

·       Analyze and define specific calibration requirements

·       Prepare and submit DSF and instrumentation sheets

·       Define needs for instrument and battery simulator straps

·       Prepare long lead-time parts lists and documentation for parts forums

·       Express requirements for GMP Kits, Battery Kits, and wiring harnesses (MTC scope)

·       Participate in parts forums and analyze dispute approvals

·       Manage reception, labeling, and storage of PIE parts

·       Maintain traceability documentation and EIPF versioning

·       Oversee engine and vehicle wiring reception and installation

·       Monitor and resolve wiring issues (e.g., missing connectors)

·       Support pilots in assembling wiring, parts, and instruments

·       Handle ECU reception and reprogramming

·       Assist pilots during PIE start-up procedures and in using tools (e.g., CANOE, JIRA)

·       Plan and coordinate validation slots for systems

·       Manage software and hardware configuration updates

·       Support pilots during validation activities and test sheet follow-ups

·       Raise and manage JIRA tickets for identified issues

·       Coordinate with SWEPL teams and maintain validation indicators (e.g., PV_GLOBAL)
