Logistics Manager

The LOGISTICS MANAGER is responsible, against the General Manager, for the design, proposal, and implementation of the approved policy of the Company in subjects of logistics, according to the quality specifications and the commercial needs and goals of the company, with the most efficient and financially effective way, within the framework of the approved expense budget and the operational expenses of the Department.

Main Responsibilities:

•  Responsibility for the design and implementation of the Supplying Chain plan of actions
•  Responsibility for designing and implementation of productive actions
•   Responsibility for monitoring and control of Supply Chain operations
• Responsibility for goal-setting of the Supply Chain and the productive activities
• Responsibility of general supervision of the units of the company from an operational standpoint
•  Responsibility of constant notification for product needs of the network and the evaluation of the capabilities of the network to offer and support them
• Responsibility for selection, training, and evaluation of his direct subordinates, and through them, of the staff of the Operations Department
• Responsibility for regular updates of the General Manager on the periodic results and problems from the activities of the Department
• Responsibility for the finalization of the plan of actions of the Department
• Responsibility for suggesting to the General Manager the needs for improvement and/ or expansion of the infrastructures of the company
• Responsibility for the final modification and proposal to the General Manager on the Stock and Production policies, according to the plan of commercial needs
• Coordinating and supervising the sections of the Procurement Department

RequiredQualifications:

Education

• University Graduate (Polytechnic specialization). Desired post-graduate studies in Business Administration or Marketing
• English Language
• Knowledge of IT networks, Computers and ERP platforms

Skills

• Creative, organizational, with leading abilities and cooperative with co-workers
• Social and capable of building inter-personal relationships with customers and co-workers
• Ability to communicate and think analytically
• Ability to work under pressure

Experience

• Previous working experience in a similar position for at least 5 years, especially in a managerial position of production units/Logistics.
