As part of our growth and institutionalization journey, we are seeking ahands-on Finance Executive with a strong accounting background and advanced knowledge of the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts, who will take end-to-end responsibility for Finance processes while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.

This role will play an active part in strengthening financial discipline and ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and continuity of accounting controls, banking and financing, budgeting, cash flow, reporting, audit, and Finance process improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day Finance operations and ensure that processes are carried out accurately, timely, and systematically,
• Ensure the accurate and timely recording of daily bank transactions in the ERP system and perform the required controls,
• Review accounting entries, account classifications, and analytical account structures in accordance with the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts,
• Manage customer and supplier accounts, payment and collection processes, and ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations,
• Review incoming invoices and ensure consistency between ERP and e-invoicing/integration systems, following up on any missing or incorrect records,
• Actively participate in monthly and period-end closing processes and review trial balances, balance sheets, and income statements,
• Prepare and monitor budgets, analyze budget-to-actual variances, and prepare management reports,
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and monitor financing requirements,
• Manage bank limits, credit facilities, financing costs, banking fees, and commissions,
• Evaluate existing and alternative funding options and coordinate negotiations with banks and financial institutions,
• Improve collection processes, analyze receivable risks, and develop actions to minimize credit exposure,
• Prepare financial statements and management reports and perform financial ratio and performance analyses,
• Lead and coordinate independent audit processes and ensure the timely preparation and flow of required financial information and documentation,
• Ensure the effective use of ERP and Finance applications and contribute to Finance process improvement and digitalization initiatives,
• Contribute to the financial control and audit activities of local and international group companies,
• Provide accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field,
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting,
• Advanced knowledge of the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts, with the ability to review accounting entries, identify incorrect classifications, and ensure accounting accuracy,
• Strong hands-on knowledge of general accounting, preliminary accounting, banking, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, and period-end closing processes,
• Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and management reporting,
• Hands-on experience in banking, credit, and financing processes,
• Preferably experienced in foreign trade finance, including letters of credit, guarantees, bills of exchange, and similar financial instruments,
• Experience in independent audit processes,
• Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems with a process improvement mindset,
• Advanced MS Excel skills,
• Good command of English with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken business environments,
• Strong team management, coordination, and follow-up capabilities,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and control skills,
• Detail-oriented, proactive, accountable, and results-driven,
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.
