Supply Control & Expediting Specialist
ANDRITZ Hydro is looking for a Supply Control & Expediting Specialist to join our team in İzmir.
About the Role
As a Supply Control & Expediting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery and required quality of critical purchase orders through proactive planning, continuous progress monitoring, and structured coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement expediting strategies for critical purchase orders
- Conduct and document regular progress tracking against agreed milestones
- Identify schedule, quality, and delivery risks early and initiate mitigation actions
- Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Quality, and Project Logistics
- Manage supplier kick-off meetings and ensure alignment on manufacturing, quality, and logistics expectations
- Trigger field expediting or manufacturing supervision when required
- Ensure timely handover of delivery forecasts to Project Logistics
- Confirm delivery readiness prior to shipment release
Qualifications
- Experience in expediting, supply chain, or procurement in an industrial/engineering environment
- Understanding of supplier manufacturing processes and logistics interfaces
- Strong communication and escalation skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions (Engineering, Quality, Logistics)
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluency in English is required
