CATEGORY SPECIALIST
Qualifications:
· Degree in BA, Economics, Engineering, Communications from a reputable university
· At least 2 years marketing or category experience, preferably in FMCG or retail sector
· Passionate about Marketing and Category Management
· Experience or interest in baby sector is a plus
· Ability to support category plans from strategy to execution and use data-driven insights to optimize category performance
· Result-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking, and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and take quick action in a dynamic business environment
· “Out of the box” thinking is highly appreciated
· Distinctive customer and team orientation and high intercultural competence
· Good computer skills, especially Excel and Power Point competence is crucial
· Excellent command of spoken and written English
· Completion of military service requirement for male candidates
Job Description and Responsibilities:
· Execute pricing strategies, product mix, positioning, communication and promotions
· Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, margin, cost, and revenue performance of the assigned category in line with approved business plans
· Support the development and implementation of marketing plans in line with company strategy and objectives to ensure profitability and long-term category growth
· Conduct consumer, commercial and economic researches to identify customer needs with insights to serve and become the number one choice of target audience
· Closely follow the business developments & competition and analyze market trends and translate findings into actionable business decisions
· Manage all operational processes related to the assigned product portfolio.
· Collaborate extensively amongst departments to successfully implement ongoing projects and new launches in line with local market needs
· Manage agency, vendor and customer relationships to ensure any outsourced work is consistent, high quality, cost-effective and reflects global branding specifications
