Position Overview

We are looking for a Raw Material Planning & Procurement Responsible to join our team in Akhisar.
This role will be mainly responsible for managing raw material planning processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, maintaining optimal stock levels, and coordinating closely with production, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain raw material planning schedules.
• Plan raw material requirements (MRP) in coordination with Production Planning.
• Monitor and report raw material stock levels to ensure optimal inventory.
• Collect quotations from local and international suppliers and manage purchasing processes.
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
• Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
• Work in close coordination with production, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams.
• Conduct basic cost analyses and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and planning data in the ERP system.
• Prepare regular purchasing and inventory reports.

 Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and/or purchasing in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in raw material planning processes.
• Strong planning and operational management skills.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes.
• Experience with SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of inventory management and MRP processes.
• Ability to perform basic cost analysis.
• Knowledge of foreign trade and logistics processes is a plus.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with international suppliers is an advantage.
