Procurement Senior Analyst

OBJECTIVE

• As part of the BRF Procurement team, lead, develop, negotiate and implement feed materials negotiation under direct materials category for Premix and different type of feed materials with the main stakeholders (Agro, Logistic, Production and QA) for 3 Feed Mills in Bandirma, Izmir and Elazig.
• Taking responsibility in defining short, middle and long termfeed additives strategy for the region
• Leading strategic sourcing in close collaboration with global procurement team members.
• Managing global market research and purchase agreements with foreign suppliers.
• Responsible for leading system design projects to improve the procurement processes and business results for those sub-categories.
• Being a member and sometimes leader of developing and implement feed additives efficiency projects in close collaboration with the Agro and Logistic team and experts.
• Taking part in creating new ideas to data management issues and tracking targets of procurement department. Developing required database and creating procurement performance reports to present to the procurement and the related departments in the region.

REQUIREMENTS

• Economic / Engineer / Business Background (Food Engineering, Agricultural Engineering and Industrial Engineering background is an asset)
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Preferably 3 years experience in Procurement
• Preferably 1 year experience to negotiate feed additives categories
• Managing CBD (cost break down) for important categories
• RAW Material Price Follow up
• Being familiar with budget, cost, finance mathematics
• Negotiation skills / Project analysis
• Expertise in the tools of Strategic Sourcing and related concepts (TCO-Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Development, Market Research etc.)
• Preferably Experience in ERP (SAP) – Procurement (MM).
• Generating alternative sourcing techniques; contingency plan, supplying risk management tools.
• Contract management
• MS Office applications (Excel, PP etc.)
• Cultural sensibility to work in different environments;
• Ability to influence and negotiate with people in all organizational levels, including technical areas and final users;
• Ability to negotiate large financial sums and work under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
• Proactive with a strong sense for processes and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Argue convincingly and achieve a consensus among colleagues and third parties.
• Team player, able to meet tight deadlines and to manage a challenging workload
• Flexible and stress tolerant.
• Willing to Travel in Turkey and abroad
• Preferable Based in İstanbul or Bandırma

RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Take an active role in defining strategy of supplying Premixes for 3 plants (Bandırma, Elazig, Izmir). Ensure supplying of all  factory with the best cost comparing to the market complying with Quality standards defined by the company.
• Develop alternative suppliers in order to reduce cost according to quality standards, operation defined criteria and contingency plan.
• Making continuous analysis about the global and local market, economical changes and all related drivers to increase the decision quality in procurement strategies to create a sustainable competitive advantage to BRF
• To take an active role to create short-mid-long-term procurement strategies and budgeting process of packaging under his/her responsibility
• Lead or take an active role in improvement projects such as: Increasing Payment terms, Managing e-auctions or regular negotiations, Improving Alternative suppliers/sources, Decrease restricted supplier rate, Developing alternative materials and methods to save money and improve process and product quality.
• Get quotation / negotiate with suppliers / validate with Stakeholders / approve negotiation as per Policy / Create PO and contract / Follow up delivering / treat divergences
• Prepare NSP
• Contract managements
• Create and manage the following data for procurement: Targets and results, Database for budget and updated forecast prices
