QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Our company has production and sales activities with 13 companies in 9 countries and we are looking for Purchasing Manager to be employed in Istanbul office
7 years+ purchasing experience in overall,
Experienced in team management,
Fluency in English in both written & spoken,
Result oriented, excellent in communication and negotations skills
Military obligation is completed
Development, management and control of Turkey-centered central purchasing department of the group companies and reporting to upper management regarding the activities and results
Direct purchasing and procurement in line with the corporate purchasing strategy of the group companies.
Ensure alignment and implementation of corporate purchasing strategies concerning production, Non Production Materials & Services, e-Procurement, organization, tools and systems.
Development and implementation of purchasing strategies:
Setting strategies for each country.
Managing supply base, leading strategic negotiations, contracting.
Assuring supply security, cost competitiveness and quality requirements.
Initiating & leading on-going cost cutting initiatives.
Participation in development and implementation of new Procurement Tools.
Build up and lead the necessary purchasing organization.
Functional management of all purchasing activities within the company
Development and implementation of most appropriate organization, staffing, training and development.
Setting up of effective management tools, volume report, savings, performance measurement.
Management of suppliers, including Global Contract Suppliers
