We are looking for a “Senior Structural Analysis Application Engineer” to join our Application team within the CAE Department at our ODTÜ Teknokent office, Ankara.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from a reputable university
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in finite element analysis (FEA)
• Strong theoretical background in continuum mechanics, mechanics of materials, and numerical methods
• Solid practical background in linear/non-linear and static/dynamic structural analyses and hand calculations
• Advanced proficiency in at least one structural analysis software; preferably MSC Nastran, Patran, MSC Apex, Marc, Mentat, Actran, Digimat, CAEfatigue
• Minimum C1 level English proficiency
• The ideal candidate excels in communication and technical presentations, demonstrates strong ownership, structured and analytical thinking, high research capability, continuous learning, adaptability in fast-changing environments, effective teamwork, customer focus, disciplined documentation, solid time management, and a natural inclination to mentor others.
• No travel restrictions; valid driver’s license and active driving ability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Professional experience in defence, aerospace and/or automotive industries
• Practical and theoretical background in mechanics of composites and rubbers
• Experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT), Noise-Vibration-Harshness (NVH), Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI)
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C/C++/C#, VBA, DMAP, etc.
• Familiarity with related civil and military standards
• General knowledge on CFD and MBD
• Ability to use a CAD software; preferably Catia or SolidWorks

Job Description:

• Work in close coordination with the CAE Sales team during pre-sales activities to propose tailored structural analysis solutions and demonstrate software capabilities to potential and existing customers
• Perform benchmark studies to evaluate and showcase software performance to the potential customers
• Provide training activities to customers regarding FEA software and related engineering solutions
• Prepare pre-sales technical materials such as technical papers, webinars, and how-to videos that highlight software capabilities across different physical phenomena
• Provide post-sales technical support in accordance with customer needs
• Execute structural analysis tasks within engineering services projects for internal and external clients, and prepare deliverables in compliance with internal quality standards
• Taking part in the company-organized events such as exhibitions and seminars
• Up to 20% travel for customer-facing activities
