ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

British American Tobacco is currently looking for a Distribution Development Coordinator to join our Marketing team from Istanbul, Turkey.
The purpose of the job is to manage the distribution of designated goods and services for BAT Turkey while offering support in delivering the targets and following up on various route to market KPIs and reports.

Reports to: Distribution Development Executive

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: Istanbul 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Follow up with the Turkey sales and trade marketing team activities, making sure that their daily activities are fulfilled on time and in full while improving the operational and financial performance
• To cooperate with field teams and business partners in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Route to Market process
• To increase the distribution efficiency and Route to Market performance by making the necessary change optimizations, and to help the company achieve its established targets
• Follow up the market trends and conduct data analysis in order to identify the regional opportunities and drive the action plan
• Creating necessary monitoring and control mechanisms for future processes

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum one year of experience in Route to market area, preferably in the FMCG industry
• Previous experience and good knowledge of Map and Route Optimization programs
• Bachelor's degree with preferably a major in Industrial Engineering
• Good command of Microsoft office programs
• Advanced knowledge of excel
• Proactive, analytical perspective
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Open to travel domestically and globally whenever needed
• Proficiency in English (Advanced level)
