Your Responsibilities

/ Support purchasing in achieving cost targets during the awarding process based on cost structure analysis, including the realization of Greenfield studies on the shop floor

/ Analyze costs of serial running components and their production process and develop/realize cost-optimized scenarios according to VSD

/ Be a part of new product development projects to ensure Project launch within the project budget by providing cost transparency and/or optimizing component design

/ Organize and lead workshops to achieve cost transparency and cost optimization

/ Provide Greenfield and Brownfield analyses for the negotiation process

Your Profile

/ University degree in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Manufacturing,Electronic & Electrical, andIndustrial Engineering

/ Min 5 years of experience in Production, Industrial Engineering, and/or Purchasing functions

/ Expertise at min. one of the following production processes ( Plastic Injection, Extrusion, Electronics, metal stamping, metal forming-cutting, Zinc/Al Casting, semi or fully automated assembly systems) and in the following activities with relevant methodologies ( i.e. Cost structure analysis, VSM&VSD, Workplace Design, and Lean Manufacturing or etc.)

/ Specific know-how on raw material properties, wire goods, pull out systems, or rail products is an asset

/ Fluency in English both written and spoken
