IT Infrastructure & Service Technician

Main Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 2 support for escalated IT incidents and service requests
• Prioritize issues based on their impact on business operations and production
• Troubleshoot user devices, connectivity issues, and local infrastructure problems
• Coordinate with global IT teams and external service providers to ensure timely issue resolution
• Support local network and connectivity infrastructure (LAN/WAN, communication rooms, server rooms)
• Perform basic network diagnostics and liaise with relevant service providers
• Support the maintenance of core IT infrastructure and physical systems
• Provide support for end-user devices, workstations, and meeting room technologies
• Support user onboarding and access authorization processes through ServiceNow workflows
• Provide support and troubleshooting for printers, mobile devices, and shopfloor devices
• Ensure ITSM processes and documentation are properly maintained within ServiceNow
• Coordinate external technicians and local field service activities
• Carry out tasks as directed by the Local IT Manager
• Support compliance with country-specific regulations and requirements

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Preferably 2–5 years of IT support or infrastructure experience, ideally in industrial environments
• Experience in end-user support, device troubleshooting, and onsite IT operations
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, connectivity technologies, and server room environments
• Familiarity with workplace technologies such as barcode scanners, tablets, and shopfloor devices
• Experience with ticket/request management systems such as ServiceNow and ITSM processes
• Experience working with external service providers and global IT teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a customer-oriented mindset
• Good command of English, with the ability to work effectively in global teams
