DEG is seeking a 3D Technician/Artist to join us to execute unique, exciting, and challenging projects. We have growth opportunities for a highly driven 3D Technician/Artist with a strong capacity to work collaboratively, yet independently, in a fast-paced environment.

As an experienced 3D Technician/Artist you will develop innovative designs in a supportive, collaborative environment while working on all phases of a project from programming and schematic design through construction administration. Applicants must be highly motivated and exhibit a passion for design, creativity, technical strength, and exceptional graphic communication skills.

This role will take responsibility for assisting the project’s development through each design phase, from the concept to physical completion during its partnership with the studio. You will play a key part of the projects team supporting the needs and requirements of the director.

Candidates must be based in İstanbul and expect to work out of our main office in Şirinevler, or in our production facilities in both Çorlu & Yalova / İstanbul;  depending on the job requirements. This is not a remote position. Main tasks and responsibilities will be based on creating modular living environments both on land and/or floating environments that must include the following:

• able to lead a project from concept to completion
• producing design drawing and tender production packages using AutoCAD plus at least one of the following 3D programmes; Solidwork, Rhino, Inventor is highly desired.
• rendering skills using 3D Studio Max , Vray , Photoshop
• producing animation using Blender or Cinema 4D is a plus
• producing and reviewing detailed joinery drawings
• reviewing  and approving shop drawings
• designing custom furniture / product and producing detailed drawings
• able to understand the nature of a variety of materials, able to construct feasible, clever production details with various materials
• effectively communicate design ideas and approaches using a variety of techniques
• having an oversight of projects for public and/or private sector clients, on generative structures & on floating structures
• working with designers at the earliest stages of a project to develop the concept and produce high-quality final images and visuals for planning/marketing/client approval
• will be in charge of the preparation of client concept presentations
• working under pressure and to tight deadlines while being overseen by the director
• must have a positive, yes attitude
• must have up to date knowledge or  relationships with high end  Visual suppliers or modelers
• must have an excellent eye for detail
• will be responsible for bidding and awarding projects
• must have great problem solving skills
• must be adaptaptive & suitable for travel
• must have excellent written and spoken English
