Audit Senior

Lead and supervise audit engagements from planning through completion for clients across various industries. Plan audit procedures, identify key audit risks, and ensure audit work is performed in accordance with Deloitte methodology and applicable auditing standards.

Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback. Coordinate daily engagement activities and monitor project progress to ensure deadlines and budgets are met. Prepare and review audit documentation, financial statement disclosures, and audit reports.

Identify internal control deficiencies and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and engagement leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and professional service delivery. Ensure compliance with Deloitte quality standards, ethical requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Progress toward or completion of a professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent).
• 3+ years of external audit experience (Big Four experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks (IFRS).
• Experience leading audit engagements and supervising junior team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken Azerbaijani and English.
