About the role

We are currently looking for a cloud connectivity engineer to join our technical team who is motivated to work with us as we grow our cloud-based solutions portfolio and work together with our clients and help them manage and overcome the changes and novelties brought about the transition to cloud and microservices. We are working with some of cutting-edge solution providers and the selected candidate will have the opportunity to absorb and grow with latest trends in the cloud connectivity field.

Desired Technical Competencies

Technical competence in the following fields is required and critical to success in this role:

·      A deep understanding of API Gateways and components; Private Keys, Certificate Based Security, Mutual Authentication, Session Management, Caching System, Firewall Rules, Port Security, Linux Basics and Load Balancer basics

·      OS knowledge (Linux, MS and related) and cloud environments (such as VMware, AWS, Azure)

·      Distributed systems, SOA and Middleware architecture.

·      Webservices (SOAP, REST) and integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft) and understanding of XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, JSON, WSDL, Swagger in this context.

·       Authentication Services such as SAML, SSO, OAuth2, OpenID

·       CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Shell Scripts, Git, Java, Maven

·       PAAS operations (e.g. OpenShift (OSE), Docker, Kubernetes)

·       DevOps, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technology (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible etc.)

·       Network Infrastructure concepts (TCP/UDP protocols, packet routing, DHCP, etc.) and devices (firewalls, proxy servers, load balancers, etc.).

Desired Professional Profile

·       Strong technical background with a degree and certifications for the above-described competencies

·       Minimum 5 years of work experience

·       Professional work attitude and communication skills with customers, managers, team-members and partners

·       Ability to adapt and respond to complex problems in a professional and timely manner

·       Ability to thrive in customer facing situations such as on-site work, visits, meetings and demos and other pre-sales activities

·       A good understanding and technical ownership of new solutions and products in his/her domain

·       Preferably residing on the Asian side in Istanbul
