Process Supervisor

Requirements

•  Engineering degree (industrial, mechanical, manufacturing or related).
•  5+ years in manufacturing operations; 2+ years in a similar management position (supervisory role managing subordinate leaders / team leaders, not only direct operators).
•  Proven plan-delivery track record — candidate must present concrete KPI figures (plan attainment, OEE, scrap, efficiency) at interview.
•  Hands-on command of core lean tools: Standardized Work / SOP, 5S, structured problem solving (8D / A3 / 5 Why / Ishikawa) — and evidence of havingled root cause analyses (RCA) personally, not merely participated.
•  Practical experience with line balancing and time studies, and withmaterial consumption ratios and man-hour norms (setting, monitoring, variance analysis).
•  Experience implementing improvements with confirmed financial effect.
•  Data literacy: Excel/BI; exposure to MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
•  Full compliance with mandatory OHS training requirements; understanding of employer duties under OHS Law No. 6331.
•  Practitioner-level TWI (Training Within Industry):Job Instruction, Job Methods and Job Relations, ready to deploy from day one — the role’s JD makes the Supervisor personally accountable for rolling out all three modules and for 100% TWI-JI training coverage of key operations; this is not a development-path item.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English is required. 

Nice-to-Have

•  SMED, VSM, Yamazumi in a serial-production environment.
•  Experience developing engineers, incl. juniors (mentoring, development plans).
• Green Belt Six Sigma or equivalent.

• Time-study methodology certification (MTM / MOST / REFA).
  
  

What makes this role non-standard: the Supervisor manages both the production line organization (Team Leaders › Operators) and an engineering sub-team (Process Engineers, incl. Junior). We are NOT looking for a classic shift supervisor — we need a leader who runs daily operations AND drives standardization, line balancing, and cost-per-unit reduction as a system.

We are looking for a teammate who will work as a "Process Supervisor" to be assigned to DEZEGA SP.

DEZEGA is a world designer and manufacturer of breathing equipment with a closed circuit. It produces breathing apparatus on chemically bound and compressed oxygen for mine rescue teams, for escape of miners and workers, for escape of civilians in case of fire and smoke. Nowadays DEZEGA products are being used in more than 50 countries. Over 500 thousand self-rescuers are guarding miners worldwide this very moment.
