Assembly Line Project&Production Supervisor
Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the transfer, installation, and commissioning of an assembly line being relocated from overseas to Türkiye. Following successful project completion, the candidate will take responsibility for supervising assembly line operations, leading the production team, and ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
The role requires a combination of project management, manufacturing, and production leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transfer, installation, and commissioning of the assembly line.
- Coordinate project activities with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and implementation activities.
- Support equipment start-up, production ramp-up, and process stabilization.
- Transition into the operational leadership of the assembly line after project completion.
- Supervise production personnel and daily assembly line activities.
- Ensure achievement of production, quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
- Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production engineering, or industrial operations.
- Experience in assembly line installation, commissioning, production launch, or manufacturing transfer projects.
- Experience supervising production teams or leading shop-floor operations is strongly preferred.
- Experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, automotive, or similar industries is preferred.
- Demonstrated project coordination or project management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel internationally during the project phase.
