Dinex Turkey is looking for new Application Engineers with focus on both ATS (exhaust after-treatment-system) and PTS (pipe treatment system) products, for his growing and evolving Engineering Department organization in Turkey. The candidate will find a great chance to be a part of a brand new product development team currently being established.

Candidates with pure design engineering experience, as well as candidates with hands-on simulation engineering experience who are also capable and willing to design and develop in CAD are under interest.

Qualifications

   ·      Bachelors or Masters degree in Automotive, Mechanical or equivalent engineering degrees.

·       Min 3 years of experience in product development preferably in the automotive industry and on metal part development. Specific experience in engine emission reduction technologies is a big asset.

·      Experience in 3D solid and surface modelling & 2D creation with Solidworks. Ability and experience to review and interpret CFD and Mechanical FEA analysis results is an asset. Hands-on simulation engineering is even a bigger asset.

·       Certain level of experience and understanding in GD&T.

·       Experience in the basic production processes like welding (MIG/MAG/TIG), CNC machining, sheet metal forming and milling.

·       Know-how on the product development deliverables such as DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R. 

·       Knowledge of quality standards from the automotive industry. 

·       Strong team player with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.

·       Fluent in oral and written English.

·       Good verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.

·       Analytic thinking and problem-solving mindset.

Roles & Responsibilities

·      Dinex Turkey Engineering Department is responsible for development of exhaust after treatment systems (ATS) and pipe treatment systems (PTS).

·      Technical support to customers in terms of product knowledge and product functionality on customer applications for PTS/ATS/catalyst applications.

·      Being the owner of the product and design starting from initial concept to the end of serial life.

·      Ensuring manufacturing feasibility of the ATS/PTS systems being designed, together with the process and production engineering by also considering the feedbacks from Quality, Supply Chain and tool and single component suppliers.

·      Evaluation of the technical specifications by reviewing with the internal departments and agreeing upon with the customer product development departments based on design and process capabilities of Dinex.

·      Creating Bill of Materials (BOM), 2D and 3D data and integrating into the ERP & PDM system.

·      Performing feasibility checks and design validations on thermal/structural durability, acoustics performance and safety with the support from simulation engineering.

·      Conducting investigation and research on new/advanced materials and design innovations.

·      Collaborating with PM for the project milestone deliverables of product developments phases and project validations.

Application Engineers with focus also on Simulation :

·      Work closely with application engineers with design focus and other team members to develop products from Dinex Turkey for the OEM business.

·      Perform FEA simulations. Process, analyze and report simulation findings

·      Collaboration with Dinex HQ for simulation specification and methodology. Comparison and validation of simulation results with tests. Documentation and presentation of simulation studies for internal and external stakeholders.

·      CAD modeling and preparation of geometry models for simulation.

·      Making presentations and trainings to internal and external stakeholders.
