Marketing Manager

DowAksa a joint venture of The Dow Chemical Company, a global leader in providing materials science solutions, and Aksa, a global producer of acrylic fibers has an opening for a marketing manager reporting to the CCO.

About you

We are looking for a Marketing Manager with strong cross functional leadership skills. In this role you will have the responsibility for both, strategic and tactical marketing, with a strong focus on growth and innovation in our Wind, Defense, and Construction markets. The collaboration and coordination across functions, including Sales, TS&D, R&D, Communication, and Product Management as well as with your peers and key customers will be critical for success. The manager should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategizing and strive under tight deadlines to meet the company's changing needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and implementation of Marketing Plans (1-3 years), incl. sustainability and repurposing narratives. Ownership covers all 4P.
• Work with Sales and TS&D to deliver market share gains with existing and new customers in target market segments.
• Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
• Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
• Commercialization / Launching of new technologies including the development, execution of launch plans, support materials, training for sales.
• Works to understand market sizing, dynamics, competitive intelligence, customer dynamics, customer journeys to create an effective plan to grow in that environment.
• Drives prioritization and implementation of marketing communications plan with Business Communications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical, Engineering or Marketing related majors,
• MBA/Economic background is a plus,
• Passion for Marketing ideally with marketing experience (7 years +), knowledge of Carbon Fiber, Composite, Wind, Aviation/Defenseand Construction industries is a plus,
• Driven by sustainability topics and strong interest in digital customer engagement,
• Customer and market orientation with strong bias towards value-add sales,
• Strong team worker and builder across functions and geographies, effective influencer,
• Strategic thinker, problem solver, result and action oriented,
• Fluency in verbal and written English.
