Design & Application Engineer (Compressor Seal)

EagleBurgmann Turkey is seeking for Design & Application Engineer (Compressor Seal) to support our growing local and international business in the Sales EMEA Department.

• University degree in mechanical or similar engineering disciplines,
• Good knowledge of German and English is essential,
• Comfortable and user of engineering software (ACAD, SolidWorks, CFD programs),
• Entrepreneurial thinking, customer orientation and a strong analytical mindset,
• Strong in working in global teams with different cultural backgrounds,
• Autonomous and self-dependent working style.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support Sales and Application Engineering,
• Support pre-studies and target client selection process to finally help the team to define target leads,
• Support sales and application engineering for client discussions and presentations,
• Feasibility study / value proposition,
• Feasibility study – suitability of machine for upgrading to DGS,
• Determine DGS arrangement options, that are viable (works with application engineer), especially for non-standard solutions,
• Maintains library / reference list of machine makes, models, upgrade options / concepts,
• Prepares draft seal proposal general arrangement drawings,
• Collaborates with vendors for associated scope (Rotor dynamic Analysis, Control Software Update, mechanical work) to perform feasibility risk assessment and mitigation plan,
• Produces draft PID and EL and other supporting engineering documents required for clarification,
• Budget / firm inquiry,
• Produces or updates proposal general arrangement drawings; proof of concept,
• Collaborates with vendors for associated scope,
• Builds up reliable partnerships with key partners, e.g. to perform RDA assessment according to mitigation / project plan,
• Updates PID and EL; works with EB global AVL vendors,
• Ensures smooth clarification processes and support the supply chain for execution,
• Technical lead throughout the execution process.
