Process Technology Specialist

We are looking for a new co-worker who will join us as Process Technology Specialist in our EGGER Gebze Plant. 

What we do expect from our new team member?

• Leading and supporting process improvement projects which results in increased uptime, efficiency and quality improvements,
• Collecting, analyzing and reporting performance data that supports process improvement, cost reduction activities, and manufacturing optimization (labor, waste, OEE),
• Developing insights from data evaluation to understand trends, root causes of problems, and identify opportunities for improvement,
• Coordinating and leading lean manufacturing activities, such as SMED, 5S, Kaizen,
• Systematically evaluating analyze and identify trends in manufacturing processes/equipment issues and data from failures. Creating and implement recommendations to prevent recurrence to reduce downtime and waste,
• Supporting of TPM activities, identify equipment maintenance and repair needs,
• Planning and leading process development researches and process trials in order to develop new process or increase efficiency,
• Provide recommendations on equipment and process improvement and control tools to increase the efficiency and/or quality,
• Modify or change processes using new technology and test them for effectiveness,
• Monitoring process performance and improvements in key metrics.

What we are looking for?

• BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineer or related engineering departments,
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experiences,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Desire to learn new skills, tools and techniques, self-starter with a positive mind-set,
• Strong sense of analytical thinking, detail-oriented and a good team player,
• Excellent communication skills, able to work within a team and with all departments,
• Training and/or experience in lean tools and techniques, such as Kaizen , 5S, Standardized Work, TPM, Root Cause Analysis, SMED, etc. (Six Sigma knowledge is a plus),
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
