What part will you play?

As part of the global purchasing team, you will play an important role in achieving our company’s goals in terms of quality, delivery reliability, innovation, and cost efficiency. You will be responsible for the following areas:

· Maintaining price lists, checking quotations, creating purchase orders and related documents, and following up on order confirmations.

· Processing error reports and ensuring smooth order execution.

· Clarifying delivery date and invoice discrepancies directly with suppliers.

· Working closely with colleagues from logistics, production, and quality management to continuously improve supplier performance in terms of delivery reliability, quality, and service.

· Supporting strategic buyers in ongoing projects (e.g. analyzing and preparing order and project data from SAP, or assisting in capacity and allocation planning).

· Collaborating with Sourcing Managers in identifying and selecting new suppliers.

Our Requirements

· Completed university degree (preferably in Engineering, Purchasing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field).

· Either experienced in operational purchasing or a motivated recent graduate eager to start a career in this field.

· Very good command of English; German knowledge is an advantage.

· Proficient in MS Office applications; SAP experience is a plus.

· Structured, reliable, and independent working style – able to work effectively in a virtual team environment.

· Strong communication and organizational skills, and enjoyment in working with international colleagues.

· Willingness to travel is an advantage.
