ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. has founded at 1957, is a recognized international EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) Company has designed and built many Projects for Oil and Gas Process, Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) Projects, Simple Cycle Power Plants (SCPP) Projects, Coal Fired Power Plants, Desalination Plants, Pipeline&Pump Stations, Well Pad Facilities, and the Tank Farms in all over the world up to date.

ENKA has its own `in-house` multi-disciplinary engineering team that performs all design services required for the development of above mentioned projects. ENKA Engineering team carries out Conceptual (FEED), Basic and Detailed engineering for the Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, Civil & Structural, and Architectural disciplines.

ENKA Engineering organization comprises of 3 main divisions located in Istanbul Head Quarter - Engineering Offices in Turkey;

·       ENKA Civil, Structural and Infrastructural,

·       ENKA Architectural Design, and

·       ENKA Energy Engineering.

ENKA Energy Engineering is seeking for new teammates who will become the member of ENKA’s design & engineering team located in Istanbul, Turkey. We are seeking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to be employed within the Energy Projects Design Center in Our Head Office in Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Senior year students, new graduates or candidates with 0-2 year experience

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Good knowledge of MS Office programs

• Strong communication skills, team worker

• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic

• Ability to work in harmony with other engineering disciplines

• General knowledge about Power Plants and Oil&Gas Industry. Graduation thesis, projects handled during university courses related to these areas are all desired.

• Experience in Power Plants and Oil&Gas Industry is preferred

• Experience in calculation software such as Chemcad, Aspen, Sinetz, AFT, Pipenet, etc. or similar applications is preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carries out mechanical design works for Power and O&G Projects,

• Participates mechanical calculation processes along with other team members. Hand calculation, simple calculation via Excel or else more advanced calculations via other software are performed,

• Prepares material requisitions, technical specifications, and datasheets for various mechanical equipment,

• Reviews and approves suppliers’ technical proposals and prepares technical bid evaluation document based on these proposals and project requirements,

• Reviews and approves manufacturers’ technical documentation (drawings, sizing calculations, datasheets, material and test certificates, etc.),

• Reviews PID’s and Heat and Mass Balance Diagrams,

• Exchanges information with other engineering disciplines and coordinates the inter-disciplinary documents reviews and other related engineering works jointlydeveloped,

• Acts as the technical interface with Site Team and Vendor,

• Attends Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
