QUALIFICATIONS

• Welding Engineer Diploma is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Mechanical and Piping QA/QC, including 4+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Experience in Energy sector projects, such as Oil & Gas, power plants, and/or petrochemical facilities.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in welding inspection, piping fabrication and installation, and mechanical construction activities, including relevant acceptance criteria and quality reporting.
• Certified Auditor (preferred).

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and oversee Mechanical and Piping QA/QC activities for Oil & Gas projects from execution through close-out.
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications and international codes/standards, including: ASME B31.3, API 650, API 686, API 510, as well as welding requirements and procedures in accordance with ASME Section IX, and client quality requirements.
• Manage inspections and audits, ensure quality hold points are met, control quality documentation (method statements, ITPs, NCR/workflows, test records), and drive the timely closure of NCRs.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction/field teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure adherence to QA/QC standards, contract/specification requirements, and inspection/test acceptance criteria.
