QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical workshops
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and using diagnostic tooling
• Certifications like Lean Six Sigma, IOSH, or specific OEM equipment training are highly preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Dismantle, clean, inspect, and repair mechanical components, engines, or systems
• Ensure all repairs and manufacturing outputs comply with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO 9001, API)
• Manage daily workflow, allocate repair orders, and maximize shop productivity and labor efficiency
• Implement and promote strict WHS/HSE protocols, ensuring a safe working environment and managing safety documentation
• Mentor and supervise technicians, mechanics, and other workshop staff while deputizing for the workshop supervisor when necessary
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, test sheets, and write up repair or root-cause failure analysis reports
• Coordinate with the parts department to identify and order required components and workshop supplies
