Procurement Specialist

Position Description:

Epcont is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our growing team. This position will contribute to the supply chain processes, conduct purchasing activities with related departments, and contribute to the success of our company.

Required Qualifications:

• ·        Graduated from engineering departments (Mechanical, Metallurgical and materials engineering),
• ·        Advanced level of English knowledge,
• ·        At least 5 years of experience in the field or EPC Projects,
• ·        Effective problem identification and solving skills,
• ·        Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• ·        Strong communication skills and a propensity for teamwork,
• ·        No travel restrictions abroad,
• ·        Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• ·        We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to manage both domestic and international technical purchasing activities. The responsibilities of this role include:
• ·        Monitoring domestic and international technical purchasing operations,
• ·        Collecting quotes for product and service acquisitions, managing the negotiation process, and creating approved orders,
• ·        Establishing effective communication with suppliers and conducting email correspondence,
• ·        Gathering requests from the departments and to create orders using ERP software,
• ·        Processing and entering purchasing data into relevant systems and files,
• ·        Ensuring physical filing and tracking,
• ·        Participating in supplier meetings and visits, and taking part in supplier evaluation processes,
• ·        Overseeing the delivery of orders and managing subsequent invoice and payment processes,
• ·        Producing reports related to purchasing processes.

·        The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and proficiency in purchasing software are essential for success in this role.
